| Would i be able to host with this speed  and should i bother trying to get my router to host? This is my speed to a server in germany, kinda embarassing  btw i live in australia, about 10000 miles from europe |

| HELL NO!!!! Look at the off-topic speedtest thread. Then look at mine, I got about 12000 kb download and 2000 kb upload at bad times, but when all is fine 3000 kb upload  |

| thanks for making me feel good... 3 things hindering my connection 1.) its a LAN connection, 2.) im 10000 miles away from where most of u live 3.) the router has a firewall that really makes internet crap, i got 100mbps internet |

| asia would be only ~2000 miles close, whereas Asia-Pacific would be only about 3500 miles away |

| Yeh well mine varies from about 800kb/s - 4mb/s download but alwasy has around 500kb/s upload |

| yea, the upload is one thing that i don't understand... why would it be so low? kk, i just found out that Optus (my ISP) has only like 6th best upload in my country, number 1 has atleast 15times higher upload then optus |
